Stanley Lindquist
Dr. Stanley Lindquist, one of seven children, was born in Texas, reared in Nebraska, Washington, and California. Stan earned a B.A. in California, a PhD. at the University of Chicago, was in the Army as a Medic and was severely wounded on a rescue mission. He was Professor of Psychology at Trinity College 7 years, taught 36 years at California State University and practiced as a licensed psychotherapist for 50 years.
Stan was married to his wife Ingrid for 63 years and they have had four sons: two became child psychologists, one a teacher and contractor, and the youngest born with severe Down’s Syndrome died young. He founded the Link Care Foundation, a counseling center which specializes in working with missionaries from the around the world, ministers and Christian workers.
